If you fail to plan, you plan to fail
Too often, we all let the busy pace of life dictate our priorities. Things slip through the cracks, problems aren't properly dealt with and we all motor on with business as usual.
Let's stop to think about a few things for a minute. Today's business environment is tough enough; why make it more complicated? How many times do you make major life decisions, large purchases or important changes without first weighing all of your options? How can you expect your customers to do business with a company that presents them with no plan?
My advice is simple: slow down the pace of life, focus on your business' core competencies, execute with perfection and follow your plan for success. Your customers will thank you, your business will prosper and you will reap the rewards of your labor.
Don't make planning an afterthought for your business, make it a part of every day life.
