Full Media Serves Lunch at Good News At Noon
April 6th, 2010 by Kris Nordholz
For the last twenty years, Good News at Noon, founded by Gene and Margie Beckstein in 1990, has been serving meals to the homeless and the hungry in Gainesville, GA. On Friday April 2nd, the team from Full Media volunteered to help serve lunch at the local shelter.
"I've known Mr. B. most of my life," said Full Media CEO, Kris Nordholz. "He served as a substitute teacher for us when we were kids. What he has done for our community through Good News at Noon is just incredible."
In keeping with its core value of service, Full Media has a day of service every quarter where the entire company comes together to serve a local need.
"There aren't many organizations serving as great a need as the one Good News at Noon serves," continued Nordholz. "Being here is a great way to give back. But it is also a great way for all of us at Full Media to learn more about the needs in our community and it ends up bringing all of us closer together as well."
