PHP Programmer

We are seeking a team oriented PHP programmer to join an established development team that develops custom database driven web applications. You will work closely with senior software engineers to develop the next generation of web applications for our clients. Exceptional and experienced candidates will head independent projects for custom client applications, as well as some internal applications.

Qualifications

Candidates should be highly motivated and organized with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment and will ideally possess:

BS in Computer Science
Advanced knowledge of PHP5
Advanced knowledge of MySQL or MSSQL
Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS
Intermediate knowledge of Javascript, XML and AJAX
Willingness to work closely with information architects, copywriters, developers and others to produce a team-driven end product that leads to a top-notch user experience
An appreciation for the excellence that the collaboration described above can produce
Ability to balance attention to detail with an understanding of overall objectives
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with positive attitude
Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Ability to setup & maintain LAMP environments
Ability to edit Regular Expressions such as Apache .htaccess
Ability to use Visio (to design database diagrams)
Knowledge of search engine friendly HTML techniques
Experience with quality assurance testing
Experience with Photoshop and Dreamweaver
Experience with Flash Animation & Action Script
Ability to work with video
